Expression of love after watching Chennai Express

First of all, oh my God, I am discussing the 4th film ever since I started the blog...yayayayayaya. Secondly, I just got to experience the second first-day-first-show in my life. Yes you didn't even have to guess it...I watched Chennai Express! :D

After a month of being miserable, I laughed to my heart's content and clapped like there is no tomorrow. And it felt GOOD. Although it has been a little over 4 hours since I finished watching the movie, I still remember it and smile or laugh. Honestly, from this point onwards, I will never listen or look at certain entertainment products the same way :P :P

Deepika won me over. I am no one to comment on her accent because of two reasons, one I don't know Tamil and second, I just love her. And I was SO excited to see her with Shah Rukh again. I wasn't disappointed at all. In fact, I actually now want more and more of them two. She was gorgeous and calm in the film. Meena A... Lochini has made a space in my heart.

Shah Rukh is a versatile actor. This movie proves that. He is great as Rahul...the halwai.  His expressions are so cute that at times, you'd feel like jumping into the screen and giving him a hug. I'd like to believe the man who can make fun of himself is my hero. So he is my hero. Rahul's sarcasm didn't feel like a force to laugh out loud, it was on the spot. I loved this Rahul!

I loved the songs before I even watched the film, but now the songs sound even nicer and fun. The songs carry the movie forward, there is no weird...out of the blue...songs. I was fearing for such things but Chennai Express is made just the way I could have asked for.

Now let's talk about that bearded guy...you know Rohit Shetty. He actually does know how to get the best out of his actors. And it will be unfair if I don't give Rohit the credit for how wonderful Chennai Express is. So therefore, let me address that Rohit has made one of the sweetest films in recent times. At times, it felt like Rohit has read some of the conversations I have had with my friends...well it is a creepy affair but it was damn good. O_o

Chennai Express is not one of those films that release every Friday. It is fast and I blame Rohit and his editors for making me miss out on a few scenes as I was busy recovering from laughter. Like I had tweeted, at one point in the movie, I was chewing something and actually drinking soda...I spit everything out :D

Basically, Chennai Express is a fun parody of DDLJ! :P

For now, I swear I can't wait for my second viewing. I wanna laugh some more.....I loved it so much!!
