Shah Rukh's hairstyles!

It is true when fans say that Shah Rukh is a handsome man. So I will write about his hairstyles today! Yeah, I'll start from the top today then continue through his whole body!

I have a few hair styles of Shah Rukh which I love a lot! First and foremost favorite is his hair in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi as Raj. When this movie was releasing, I had shaved my head in July of 2008 so my hair in December was almost identical to Raj! I totally enjoyed. I love spikey hair on Shah Rukh.

Second is Shah Rukh's hair in Ra.One. Yes, it hasn't released yet but after looking at the promos, I surely love G.One's hair! Yes, spikey and short hair...my favorite! Let some air into my head!

Third is Shah Rukh's hairstyle that he keeps casually. Oh that fluffy hair, I wish I was one of his hair then he'd fluff me. :p

Well, I am in Shah Rukh hair heaven now...adios!

Apologisies!

Hey folks!

Sorry for disappearing for so long! I have been terribly busy and didn't get much time to write or I just wasn't in the mood for it. But I promise to write more now!

I see Ra.One is down to 89 days now! Double digits will come down to mere single digits in a few weeks! Don 2 is 58 days away from Ra.One so the end of 2011 will be one heck of a fabulous one! The last time we had such a nice end of a year was in 2004 with VZ and Swades releasing in a matter of a few weeks apart!

Anyway, I'll have another post later tonight.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Shah Rukh's characters as my inspiration

Hello Folks!

I hope you all have relished the out of this world Don 2 trailer and are eagerly waiting for Christmas to come!

I will soon be putting up a Don 2 countdown, don't worry, it's not 200 days away!

Anyway, today I'll talk about Shah Rukh as my inspiration, I won't write a lot because this topic is a long one in itself but I'll just write a few sentences about some of the instances when I became inspired by Shah Rukh both style wise and otherwise :p

When Mohabatein released, I would carry my sweater around my neck like Raj-Aryan Malhotra.

When Veer Zaara released, I dyed my hair goldish like Veer.

When My Name Is Khan released, I would try to repair things like Rizwan.

When Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi released, I'd have my hair spikey like Raj.

When Kal Ho Na Ho released, I tried to keep my family more happy than I had done before and still try to.

When Don released, I'd ask my sister who would smoke sometimes to give me the bud so I can flick it away like Don.

These are just the character inspirations I had, Shah Rukh himself inspired, inspires and will keep inspiring me to become a better human like him.

Don is back!

One of my Shah Rukh's all time favorite movies happens to Don and as you all know, its sequel will be releasing this December! So besides Ra.One in October, we'll have Don 2 as well! Yay! I love it when we have two SRK movies in a year! More is better but not required. :)

In Don 2, Don is much much more bad than in the first part! In a few hours after this post, we all will get an idea of how bad he is because today, the trailer of Don 2 will be unveiled!

I am super excited about it! The father of all villains is coming soon!

How I became an SRK fan

SRK fans across the globe have asked me many times how I became an SRK fan...there is no complete answer to this. I have told some of you that I have been a fan since before my own birth which is true. Here's how that is relevant.

I was born on the third of July in 1992. Shah Rukh's first release was Deewana which happened to release just a week earlier before my birth on June 25th. How cool is that? :D

Anyway, I'd see his movies on TV sometimes but since my sleeping schedule was a bit messed up (and it still is!!) I'd usually wake up when the movie would end. This is especially true with Baazigar and Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. I'd see the endings but never the whole movie. I actually never watched any full movies until many many years later!

Slowly I understood my love for SRK, whether it's my anger at the awards in 2000 for totally ignoring his performance in Mohabattein and hating Hrithik Roshan (I still do) or my struggle to buy his movies' music on cassettes. I'd even dance like a maniac to the songs from his movies...more on the soundtracks of Josh since I truly loved dancing to the festive song "Zinda Hai Hum To".

Now after so many years, here I am. :)

Twitter vs Facebook

So guys, I apologize for not being regular here, been busy. :(

Anyway, I see there is a great war going on between two of the most popular social networks, Twitter and Facebook. Our lovely King has just reached a million followers on Twitter and he's about to get 2 million likes on his official account at Facebook.

As for me, I truly prefer Twitter, I'm a total twitter-holic! Otherwise I'd not have over 300 followers or write over 15,000 tweets! :D

On Facebook, I'm kind of active but not so much, I feel people on Facebook are more, eh, objective towards like everything I write but I still have my Facebook activate because I interact with my nieces sometimes and also have been actively adding a lot of SRK fans as my friends.

I also see Shah Rukh likes twitter more. There! One similarity out of a thousand! :D

Anyway, I encourage all of you to create FB accounts if you haven't done so and like our King's official page

Or if you already have FB but no Twitter, I encourage you create an Twitter account so I can interact with you and you can also follow the King of all Kings

Take care!

Some facts

This post is kind of random, I'll share a few facts about myself and Shah Rukh...sometime in the future, I'll talk about them in detail!

1) My family calls me Shah Rukh's mother since I get worried about him and all that.

2) I got really upset when Salman Khan and Shah Rukh had that argument.

3) I keep Shah Rukh's photo in my wallet, bedside and by the big TV in the living room.

4) I really wish to meet Shah Rukh one day and I know it will happen!

5) I haven't watched Ram Jaane and Army yet.

6) I don't have a complete collection of Shah Rukh's movies.

7) When I speak or talk, I never take Shah Rukh's name but mention him as King...I'm shy to take his name.

8) I have written my best essay ever and it's about Shah Rukh.

9) I have a wish to create a sugar packet that has Shah Rukh's photo on it.

10) I had dyed my hair golden-ish after watching Veer Zaara, inspired from Shah Rukh of course.

11) I feel I became a better person after learning more about Shah Rukh.

Well, as I said earlier, I'll talk in detail about these facts later on.

Adios!

Shah Rukh's last release

Shah Rukh's last release was My Name Is Khan which was out on Feb.11, 2010. It was a truly heart touching movie.

I had a tough struggle to watch the movie because during its release, my mother became ill. But we watched it a week later its release. That experience was a tearful one.

At least 50% of the time, I had tears rolling down my eyes. Most of them were when I'd see Rizvan going through what many Muslims around the world went through. 9/11 was extremely tragic but whatever happened afterwards in the name of security was even more tragic. I say around the world because it wasn't just USA but in many other countries, Muslims had to go through tough times and they still do.

Anyway, I liked the simpleness of the film which sounded ordinary to some and over-the-top to many. But I found it rather balanced. The fact is we still have good people like Rizvan who can do over-the-top kind of things like he did with the hurricane thing. For example, just a few days ago, I read an article about a guy in Florida who lifted a car to save a man's life who was trapped under the car while trying to fix it. Isn't that "over-the-top"?

Well, the thing is, these kind of heroic acts are indeed very rare in today's selfish world so that is why I guess many people didn't find MNIK to be very real. But personally, I do believe good people like Rizvan exist otherwise this world would have came to an end by now!

A real life example of a good person is Shah Rukh himself. I guess that is why I found Rizvan to be more realistic than just a character in a movie named My Name Is Khan.

I have also mentioned this many times on twitter, you need a heart to watch MNIK. Of course it has lots of emotional scenes because the tagline itself is very emotional, My Name Is Khan and I'm not a terrorist.

I really thank Shah Rukh and Karan for making a film like this, we could have used this much before 2010 but it's better late than never. Must admit though, 2010 was not a bad time to release it because by then 98% of this world have understood that we, Muslims, are not all terrorists, most of us are good people. :)

Good night.

A song for Shah Rukh

There are many songs from Hindi films that I feel like singing to Shah Rukh if he were in front of me. Alas, that ain't gonna happen! First of all, I doubt any word will be coming out of my mouth when I meet him, forget singing!

Anyway, for now, I'll share one of my favorite songs that is dedicated to my King.
The song is "Tum Aa Gaye Ho Noor Aa Gaya Hain" from the movie Aandhi
Here are the lyrics:
Tum Aa Gaye Ho Noor Aa Gaya Hai - 2
Nahi To Charaago Se Lau Jaa Rahi Thi
Jeene Ki Tumse Wajeh Mil Gayi Hai
Badi Bewajeh Zindagi Jaa Rahi Thi
Tum Aa Gaye Ho Noor Aa Gaya Hai

Kaha Se Chale Kaha Ke Liye
Ye Khabar Nahi Thi Magar
Koi Bhi Seera Jaha Jaa Mila Wahi Tum Miloge
Ke Ham Tak Tumhaari Duwa Aa Rahi Thi
Tum Aa Gaye Ho Noor Aa Gaya Hai
Nahi To Charaago Se Lau Jaa Rahi Thi
Tum Aa Gaye Ho Noor Aa Gaya Hai

Din Dooba Nahi Raat Doobi Nahi
Jaane Kaisa Hai Safar
Khwaabo Ke Diye Aankho Mein Liye Wahi Aa Rahe The
Jaha Se Tumhaari Sada Aa Rahi Thi
Tum Aa Gaye Ho Noor Aa Gaya Hai
Nahi To Charaago Se Lau Jaa Rahi Thi
Tum Aa Gaye Ho Noor Aa Gaya Hai

My family as SRK fans

So in my last post, I described how I became a fan of SRK the great! In this post, I'll reveal how my family became SRK addicted.

When Shah Rukh just debuted, my family was pretty fed of watching the kinds of movies that would release back then. Then one day, after I was born, my sister went to the local video shop to get a new movie to watch. She got Deewana. When they had finished watching it, my mother got angry with my sister for getting a movie with this guy (Shah Rukh)! But my sister said that this actor will make it big! And how true she was!

Then my sister kept searching for more of his movies. After a couple of movies, my whole family were converted to true SRK fans.

Now, it has become a rule of our family, if we are to watch movies at theater, then only SRK films are to be watched. And that rule has not been broken for the past 5 years. It began in 2004 when I finally watched a movie in a theater, Main Hoon Na. Then Veer Zaara and Swades followed. We had to give Paheli a miss because at that time, we were going through seriously ugly problems. But after that, we missed none! :D

Even so that we watched Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi twice in theater! That's a new record for me and of course not a big record for bigger and crazier SRK fans. :p

Now my family are hungry as hell for Ra.One and Don 2. They even handed me the job of finding out about the nearest theater to watch these two upcoming blockbusters (InshAllah). Otherwise, my family threatened that we'll travel 2 and a half hours to another location to watch these movies....

But they have a problem which isn't that big since they have watched Shah Rukh's old movies many many times. The problem is they don't like to watch any movies more than at least 5 times, haha. Kind of a problem for me because it takes away my freedom to watch old movies with my family. :p

Then they also love to fight for SRK. Whether it's online or some obnoxious relatives, they never hesitate to argue for SRK.

But when it comes to try and meet him, my family kind of fails...all due to personal problems. Please pray that when I meet Shah Rukh Khan, I meet him with my lovely parents and sisters.

Anyway, now you know how my family and I become fans! :D

Hiyo!

Hi everyone! I'd like to welcome you to my new blog. As the top says, I'll talk about Shah Rukh Khan. I chose him as the topic of this blog because no matter how many words I write on this blog, they'll always fall short to describe him and my love for him. But there is no harm in trying, right?

I will try to be as regular as possible. You might even get to read more than one post daily, will depend on my mood. :)

Please do subscribe, comment and share this blog with fellow SRK fans, I really enjoy knowing more SRK fans because I believe we are a bunch of truly good hearted people. :D

Take care and thanks for coming here!
