Shah Rukh's autograph

I have been fortunately enough to able to have Shah Rukh's original autograph, all thanks to Allah and Asian Variety Show (AVS).

The crazy fan I am, I had bought the CD of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi after looking up and down, right and left! So when I was entering the contest to win this CD, I didn't even read that it would be autographed by Shah Rukh but still I entered since I knew the answer :)

Then one fine cloudy saturday afternoon (24th Jan. 2009 at 2 something pm to be exact) I went to check mail, and I had the biggest surprise of my life waiting in the mailbox! I opened it while coming back home, it was a Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi CD, I was like, hmmph! A used CD?? Because the wrapper was off and it had scratches on the cover. I opened the case and saw the CD. Wee, it's a CD, what's the big deal? Then I looked at the left side and saw some scribblings...since it was in black and the background was black too. After a while I realized it was Shah Rukh's autograph!!

When I got home, and showed to it my sister, my sister told me not to touch it because it had fingerprints which we assumed belonged to Shah Rukh so ever since then I have kept it in its original bubble envelope and if I have to check it, I wear gloves.

It was the best surprise of my life. I'll treasure this autograph forever. Earlier I have had the printed autographed posters, two from OSO CD and DVD and 1 from Josh DVD.

Hope some day I get a autograph with my name :)

*Just now while writing this post, I checked it because I had doubt whether it belonged to Shah Rukh or Anushka because I totally ignored what I'd get while entering the contest. All this because I already had a CD!
