The A+ SRK essay

During my last year in high school, I wrote a essay about Shah Rukh and got a A+ for it! That's my best essay I have written in life! Here is, enjoy!

There was a special moment in my life, it might have been the best moment ever but since I have only lived for eighteen years, I guess I cannot completely call it the best moment but currently it is my best moment of my life.
It was not long ago. I woke up in the morning but did not get enough sleep feeling anxious. During that time, I was very excited and super hyper because my favorite hero was in town, well, nearby. I love him so much that words fall extremely short to describe it. My parents tell me that I act like his mother. I actually like to keep up to date news of him and his whereabouts. I get angry when someone bullies him, or says something offensive about him. I just cannot tolerate anything bad happening to him. My love for him is such that sometimes I feel like protecting him from the world when he is surrounded by unnecessary controversies and humiliation.
He has been acting in movies since the time I was born. I have loved him for a long time and it was time that God gave me a chance to meet him. Anyway, that day had finally arrived but it was not so easy. The whole day I spent trying to meet him was the most hectic and painful yet fun and most memorable day of my life.
He is such a big movie star that he has to have tons of security around him. One or two dozen is not even enough for him. Anyway, I freshened up and had breakfast. Then I got dressed, I wore light clothes but enough to cover me from rain. I packed a small backpack with some food and water. I also took my camera, cell phone, paper, pen, small umbrella and about $42 dollars with change. He was in town to shoot for a movie. Thinking about how things might go today, I walked to the bus stop and rode the bus to the BART station. Many thoughts were floating around in my mind, mostly negative thoughts. Will I meet him? Will the security let me see him? How will I meet him? Where will I meet him? Did I bring the paper for an autograph? What about the camera to take a picture? What if the camera stops working? Did I bring extra batteries? Such thoughts polluted my mind and left my body a little wet thanks to perspiration.
Anyway, I got to the BART station and took a train towards San Francisco since that is where he was shooting. Same thoughts as I stated above were again leaving wrinkles of worry on my forehead. Once I arrived at the Powell Street station, I got off and started walking out of the station. Since it was a weekend, there were less people at the station. After getting out of the station, I decided to walk around. I was not sure as to where exactly they were shooting since such things are kept secret to avoid unnecessary disturbance.
After walking around for 27 minutes, I got tired and decided to take rest. There was a coffee shop at the street where I stopped. So I decided to go in and buy myself a small cup of coffee. After going in, I saw two huge men sitting at the right side, sipping coffee. One of the men looked familiar. Then I thought that I’d sit close to them because I was starting to think that these men are perhaps my favorite actor’s bodyguards. I got my small cup of coffee and sat next to them. They did not talk at all and left within ten minutes after I took a sit beside them. The little hope I had nurtured was finished. But it was my fault that I did not ask them anything and the reason I kept quiet is because I thought they might not tell me anything at all.
I finished my cup of coffee and left the shop. Then I decided to walk straight down the road. I think I walked 2 miles at least and the road was just not coming to an end! There was a park on the left side of the road so I crossed the road and went inside the park. I sat down and next to me, there was a couple sitting. They are talking about my favorite man! From what I heard, they were also trying to meet him but were not allowed to see him. So I thought I’d go up to them and start a discussion or join them in their quest to meet our favorite guy, after all, all three of us had the same destination. So I talked to them and I learned that our favorite guy’s hotel was nearby and he is at the hotel right now. I felt ecstatic hearing that I was so close to him. But also felt sad that there was little chance of seeing him today since they were told that he would be staying in his room for the rest of the day since he caught a bad cold.
I was quite disappointed and felt sympathetic thinking my poor hero is battling a cold today. After leaving the park, I decided to go to a drugstore to buy a medicine which always works for me when I get a bad cold. I left the drugstore and went to the hotel where he was staying. I seriously wished that I had enough money with me so I could book a room at the hotel but no. I was feeling a little nervous about the fact if the hotel staff would even let me in. By then, it started to rain quite hard and I was wet and shivering since I wore light clothes. Seeing the condition I was in, the hotel staff let me in. I sat down in the lobby where it was warm but I was sneezing and already had a runny nose. I had to break the pack of medicine I had bought for my hero. Then I started thinking the reasons as to why he got the cold. Maybe he had a rain scene to shoot for?
It was now 3 at noon. I spent the time at the hotel lobby where I had lunch, a little nap and talked to my family back at home. They were quite worried but I told them that I will not come back until the day ends. I could not say that I will not get back until I meet my hero since that sounded a bit over the top that time because there was little hope of him coming out of his bedroom to meet the numerous fans waiting for him outside the hotel. Yes, I forgot to mention that there were other people waiting to see him other than me. But they were not allowed to come in, only those who were at the hotel to book a room or hotel’s customers were allowed in. A few people pretended to book a room but were soon taken out of the hotel. The hotel made an exception for me since I was wet and shivering in cold and they felt sympathetic with me. Even after I felt better, I stayed there and thankfully, they let me stay there.
Hours went by but no glimpse of my hero. I started to feel that I should get back to home now since it was becoming dark. But I still stayed. Many people from the crowd outside the hotel were starting to leave since there was wind blowing hard with the rain. But after a while, tons of people were coming out from the elevator. What’s happening? My hero was coming!! Finally, he came out of his room. He was so charming; he gave flying kisses and waved at the crowd with love. Since I was in the lobby, I was left behind while he went outside but I could see his hands and hair. His hands were so big and hair, light brown with black. He was wearing a black jacket. I really wished I was the tallest person there but no, my height did not support my eagerness to see him. After ten minutes, he was coming back in the hotel and I got ready with my camera to click his photo since that was the least I could do. But since my height was so bad, I hit one of his bodyguard’s arms and my camera fell. It did not break but was not turning on and he was leaving in full speed! What to do now? I waited the whole day to get his glimpse and now I return home with a broken camera and heart? No, God cannot be so cruel with me!
Then I pleaded to the hotel staff to tell my hero to meet me just once. They were not consenting at all. I started crying so hard that the people who were at the lobby were all looking at me in sympathy. Then they also requested the staff on behalf of me. The manager came out and he felt sympathetic with me after hearing that I was wet and cold and waited the whole day to see my hero including the part about my broken camera. Then he personally went up to my hero’s room and requested him to come out and meet me. He is so humble; he immediately agreed and came down to meet me.
Now my goal was achieved. My hero was right in front of me. My eyes were still wet; he wiped my tears and gave a warm hug. His nose was stuffed and I could hear it. Then he kissed my forehead as well. Then I told him how my day went and I asked him about his day. He told me that he had been lying in the bed all the day and slept for a long time after ages. Then I blurted out that I had a gift for him but I had actually forgotten to bring the gift with me. It was a perfume named, “King”. Since he is known as the King so I thought I’d give him that. But then, I took out the medicine package. I was just shocked at what I took out! He laughed a little then I told him that this medicine will get rid of his cold very soon, it worked on me then it would work on him as well. He seemed a bit nervous since I guess that was the first time somebody gifted him medicine. Of course, he could not trust me completely that I would be giving him cold medicine, it can be poison too. But he took the gift and put it in his pocket and also gave me an autograph. Then he told me that he has to get back to his room now since he has a meeting to attend. We hugged and he left. I was still in shock. I met my hero? Really? But no, I really did meet my hero whose name is Khan, Shah Rukh Khan.
Then I thanked the manager and everyone present there and left with a giant smile on my face. Even the rain seemed like rose petals to me and I just walked without thinking anything. I got to the BART station and took a train to my home town. The bus service was closed so I called up my parents to come pick me up. Then I got home and told everyone about my magical journey. I put the autograph in a frame but I still have not been able to fix my camera, I guess it is star struck…
